01/13/20 UPDATE:

Hi Everybody, Marley here! I wanted to update everybody on how things are going since my paws landed in Minnesota.

When my foster family in Texas told me there was going to be snow, they sure weren’t kidding! I am starting to get used to the snow, especially since I have a brand-new coat made just for me! My foster mom says I am the perfect Boxer and all lady, with a splash of spunk! I love to hop off all 4’s and jump in circles when I am happy or excited! I love to play with toys, but I don’t destroy them (but I do give them a good shaking). I sit nicely when given treats, and I take treats nice an easy.  I always do a proper Boxer bow when I want to play and my mom and I play catch my feet, which is so much fun! I love to play with my mouth open, but I never touch her hands with my teeth when we are playing, after all, I am a lady.  Once I get to know you and will roll over in a submissive position for you to rub my belly and chin.

Hello to Marley’s future mom/dad/brother and or Sister!  Marley is settling in quite nicely in Minnesota. Her feet are slowly getting used to the snow, but she does love to go outdoors, and she loves going for walks (my Fitbit can’t keep up). She starts her heartworm treatment soon and she would really love to find a foster to adopt home to settle into before she starts treatment. Rest and relaxation are all she will need once treatment starts. Once treatment is complete, she will get spayed and have her mammary tumor removed (the vet isn’t concerned about the tumor).

Marley has beautiful manners, is quiet, takes treats nicely, and loves to snuggle. She is a happy girl and would do great in a house with other dogs and children. I have left her uncrated for a few hours while I’m gone, and she is perfectly behaved. She also kennels up while I’m at work and crates for 9-10 hours a day. If you are looking for that perfect Boxer, look no further than Marley!

Dear Future Mom/Dad/Sister/Brother,

I just arrived in MN after a long trip from TX. Boy, it sure is a lot colder here and this white stuff on the ground is cold, crunchy under my paws, and bright! I've taken it all in stride because I am just that amazing! I was in a temporary foster home, which I LOVED but they wanted to keep fostering, so I made my journey to Minnesota to find my furever family.  I'm such a good girl! I am completely house broken and not a bother. I'm curious, playful, and just downright sweet. I would love to adopt my furever family before I  undergo my heartworm treatment. Don't worry, I just need extra rest and quiet during the recovery period and then I will be all cured. I would love my family to help nurse me back to health. On my first day I was lucky to spend it with my new foster mom. She said I am perfect in every way, and I think she's right. I slept in my crate while she worked and I mastered going up and down stairs after 1 try! I'm smart like that!

From Marley's foster mom:

She arrived this morning and is good as gold! She had no issues going potty outside on a leash, even in the cold snow. She found her dog bed, played with toys, ate, and slept at my feet while I worked. She knows how to sit on command, takes treats very gently, and does not pull on the leash.  I look forward to watching her personality come out as she adjusts to Minnesota life.
