Print an adoption flyer for Deuce! 2/22 Update: Deuce has just recently reacted badly with "snapping" and we are unsure what the trigger was that started the behavior. One time was at a vet clinic and another time at an adoption event. It could be it was just too choatic or noisy and he didn't know how to process all the activity around him. Our goal is to find the best home possible for all our dogs and along with that comes complete disclosure on any issues we find. _______________________ From the foster mom -- Deuce is such a good boy! He is coming into his own. He is really low maintenance. The first few days I wondered, are they sure he's not deaf? He responds better to hand signals then commands. Maybe he cant understand our Minnesota accents! He doesn't mind the snow. The cat and Deuce have warmed up to each other. I've given him a little more freedom. Yesterday Deuce helped me do laundry so he went up and down the steps a lot. All in all, he's getting good exercise. He likes his walks, he doesn't pull on the leash. He doesn't seem to have any hip or joint issues that we can tell from petting and manipulating his legs. I tried to put some earwash on a cotton ball to clean his ears and found out he did NOT like it. Deuce doesn't beg for food, you can eat in front of him and doesn't surf the counters or get into anything. He's pretty smart, he can open doors (bathroom) if you don't close them all the way. Deuce is fine in his crate. He really could care less about toys at this point in time. I put a camera on when we left the house to see how he does all alone -- took a nap and waited for us to get back. What a easy peasy precious boxer boy!
