Leo is a wonderful chill senior. He likes long naps and small soft squeaky toys. He is good around all types of other dogs. Don't know about cats. He loves food and will steal whatever he can get at. He is not particularly fond of crates but is fine being out unsupervised as long as he has no access to kitchen. He turns into psycho dog when he plays! Zooming around and growling and acting like his toy is a deadly animal that must be killed. Sounds terrible but he is only playing. He has no qualms about stealing another dogs food. Just butts in and eats it. I do recommend always supervising feeding time if you have another dog or just feeding in separate areas. Not all dogs are willing to have their food stolen if they look the other way for a second. He is still in the 'this may be my last meal' phase of being rescued. He doesn't chew his food. His teeth are nubs. So we soak his kibble . He is an absolute cuddle bunny and Velcro dog. He will follow you from room to room and wants to be touching you if possible. It has been to cold for walks so hard to tell if his pulling is just curiosity of the smells in the store or if he needs some work on learning leash manners. He is good with all ages, very gentle and loving with kids. I would like to see him go to a home that has another dog so he has a companion. Or perhaps with a family that has someone home all the time. He deserves to get all the attention he can after being neglected and left outside for a year.
