Daisy Mae just arrived so the foster is still learning a lot about her. Foster notes: She kennels great and is kenneled when I go to work. At night she has been taking turns with my other dogs sleeping on the dog beds on my bedroom floor. The dogs still are just meeting through the baby gates. If she isn’t by my bed she roams freely in the house and sleeps on a dog bed in living room. She has not chewed anything but I havnt got her to play with a toy yet either. She has done great with my two year old and anyone else she has met. The two year old even has a light up bumper car he drives around the living room and Daisy doesn’t mind at all. She has not had any accidents in the house or kennel. I havnt noticed any signals when she wants to go outside and I just let her out when it seems like she should want to. I do have a dog door and she knows how to use it but only has used it if I am where she wants to be. She is working on going up large amounts of stairs and walking on grass. She seems to not like either. She is a chunky monkey. She likes walks and since she out of shape there is no leash pulling. She walks next to me trying to keep up. She has shown some interest in dogs as they walk by on leash. She stops and has to be redirected to keep going. I have never heard her bark yet. She sits nicely when she wants a treat but Since she acts like she starving all the time, she takes the treats a little rough. She has no food guarding issues with humans. I have yet to test with the other dogs. She is a very loving and cuddly dog. She does lick me a ridiculous amount till she gets settled in. I do plan on doing some small intros with the dogs today.
