Words from his foster mom:
This is my foster Jasper. He is approximately 2 years old and going through heart worm treatment. He will be neutered and have his cherry eyes fixed upon completion of his treatment.
He is very well mannered but still a puppy. He loves to play and like a typical boxer will use his paws. He will chase after cats and is a little too playful for toddlers. 9 and up is recommended. He would love a home with another dog to play with.
_____________________________________________________Jasper is a wonderful gentleman. He listens, knows basic commands- sit shake and come. His only fault so far is that he is very handsy. He likes to paw at you when he wants something and can be very pushy. He is especially jumpy when meeting new people or if you have been gone for a bit. He is all ready improving on this. Right now I wouldn't recommend him for an active family perhaps after some work but right now a sedate less active atmosphere is doing him a lot of good. He would be too much for children younger then teens right now. I am keeping him separate from my dogs only because he is heartworm positive and needs to be less active. He has done fine through the gate and on a leash with them. All tails wagging and but sniffing went well.
