UPDATE 8/20 FROM FOSTER: I am Lucy’s current foster and she is a total sweetheart! She loves to snuggle and hang out, she has been around older kids (10yr + at my house) and does very well. She wanders the fenced yard if I do yard work or watches out the front window if I am working inside. She likes walks and is quickly picking up new skills. Loves car rides - calmly observes the world as it goes by. Completely potty trained. Hangs out in my office when I am gone. Her bed is her place in my office. Lucy lived with a senior male boxer when she first came to rescue and was best friends with him (Jaxon). Since Jaxon's passing, Lucy can be dog selective. _____________________________________________ RCBR is very excited to introduce Lucy, a senior female boxer from TX. Lucy was emaciated and very sick from poor care when she first was brought to the TX shelter. RCBR was contacted for help and we jumped at the chance to help this sweet old girl. And Lucy has been nothing but grateful and loving to her temp foster family in TX. She is slowly gaining weight. Once we have her here in MN she will get the much needed vet visit to see what else she has going on with her health condition.
