Gramps -- The name fits the qualities of a grandpa. Gramps has a soft heart, kind, friendly, full of unconditional love, extremely patient, gentle, welcomes hugs, enjoys a good meal, easy going, mellow, and likes naps. The naps come with deep snores. He is satisfied to spend the days doing nothing and likes a soft bed. Gramps is content and happy to spend nights on his dog bed next to foster mom. He does not enjoy getting out of bed before 8:00. Gramps walks willingly into his crate and is not bothered if left alone. Gramps is very accepting of people. His preference is to ignore the 12-year-old resident female boxer and 2 house cats. He has shown no interest in toys or shoes, or other items left on the floor and certainly has no idea what destruction means. He is always close by to make sure he knows what is going on. Walks are limited due to the beginnings of degenerative myelopathy. Some leaking may occur when he uses stairs.
