Mac’N is a 85 pound neutered male and a large breed dog — some mastiff, some presa canario, and a smidgeon of boxer. He is fine being crated, and he is completely potty trained. He needs an owner that will continue guiding him in the right direction.

Currently Mac’N is attending boot camp and will be graduating on Oct. 14th. This young handsome guy is as stubborn & entitled as he is cute and is learning about boundaries. He has improved so much that the dog and children exclusion is gone, but the correct companions are important.

Patience is key with this big lug. And a treadmill! A treadmill is a must for Mac'N. Nothing fancy, human treadmill is fine, but he does need it for peace of mind.

Overall, the most important factor is a calm, confident handler that has mastiff/large breed experience but these guidelines will help establish structure for him & he does his best when expectations are crystal clear - we offer this for him by following the House Rules (forever) and the 2 Week Reset to help him settle in after a transition to a new home, after any stressful incident and to reset a relationship between him and a human. The Daily Schedule examples are great for outlining what a structured day looks like for him. We will provide those rules and the schedule with his adoption.
