Angel
Angel crossed the bridge 1/29/2024 What can I say about my sweet Angel? She arrived on a day that I had a broken sad heart. I had just put my Bassett hound down that day. I was set to foster “Snow'' that day and decided to proceed with the placement anyway. “Snow '' quickly became “Angel” (because that is exactly what she was) and I knew she was sent to me to help me heal. I knew immediately that this beautiful girl was “home”. She was the most gentle soul and she loved everyone. She had a special bond with my grandson, even before he was born, as she laid her head on his mamas belly often. That bond remained until her last day and he still is asking me where she is. She had the 9 lives of a cat and had rallied numerous times when I thought it was her last day. She told me it was time a month ago and now I have a broken sad heart again. I loved this sweet soul with my whole being and my poor blind lab curls up in her “way too small bed” every night mourning her loss. Fly high sweet girl-I loved you best.

Apollo
Well... the short time we had Apollo, AKA Pauly, he sure got a lot of loving. We came home a few weeks after adopting Pauly and found our sweet old boy has passed away. Regretting we weren't here but this morning I had a long talk with him and told him what a good boy he is and that I love him so much. He stared into my eyes like he understood everything I was saying. Thanks for the love you showed us, Pauly, not run free ...

Archie
It is with great sadness that I had to say goodbye to my sweet Boxer Archie. He had to be euthanized due to a diabetic coma and complications from the disease the day after Thanksgiving. RCBR rescued him two years ago after he was given up to a high kill shelter in Tennessee. I became his foster then quickly became a foster failure and adopted him. Archie was such a sweet gentle boy. He was my constant shadow here at home. He loved living on a farm and having lots of doggie friends. Thanks to RCBR for saving his life and giving me the honor of being his Mom.
