Mabel Chicken Nugget
7/31/2023 Mabel, better known as Mable Chicka/Mabel Chicken Nugget found herself needing a new home at 10 years of age. Foster mom Heidi fostered her for a month before Mabel stole her heart and she remained there as a forever family member. Mabel Chicken Nugget passed away a year and six months later after receiving an outpouring of love and care with Heidi. She was as sweet as could be and loved by many RCBR followers.

Macy
Well done, Macy We were sad to say goodbye to the Grand Old Lady, our beautiful girl, Macy May Samuel. She crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday, June 9, 2023 around 9:45am. We didn’t know Macy as a puppy, since she came to us at 11 years old. Three years with her was not nearly long enough, but we know she saved her best years for us. Macy had 3 humans, Mom, Leslie and Cicely, and 2 cat sisters, Ophelia and Nala. She also had a “Fairy Dog Mother”, Susan Ross, and lots of fans. We miss her already, but feel fortunate and grateful for the beautiful and amazing experience it was to be her family and to spend her last years with her. It was indeed an honor and a privilege.

Maggie
"Ten months ago we found this amazing Boxer rescue group and were given the chance to adopt 2 senior sisters from Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue. Unfortunately after some recent health battles, Miss Maggie has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge."

Major
Major was saved from a shelter in Texas, where he was fostered by a wonderful family with his new best friend, a little girl named Sophie. He was then transported to Minnesota to his forever foster family, with his newest best friend, a little girl named Sophia. Major saw a neurologist in both Texas and Minnesota, and had many tests done. He suffered from almost continuous head tremors, and was quickly losing function in parts of his body. We were hoping the tests would show he had something we could fix, but unfortunately, that was not the case. He was diagnosed with neurodegenerative disease, subarachnoid diverticula, and kidney disease. There was no cure, and things would only get worse. We loved on Major and kept him comfortable until he told us it was time. Major has now crossed the bridge and is able to run wild and free with the use of all his legs! He can now play with ALL the squeaky toys whenever he wants! Our hearts are shattered, but we are forever grateful to have known this little boy with the huge personality ❤️

Mavis
Mavis was found as a stray in Kentucky. She had some vision impairment, was full of ticks, and had a host of many other medical issues. She was cared for and loved in an amazing foster home for 13 glorious days before she was helped over the Bridge. Run wild and pain-free, Mavis!
