Jabby
Jabby arrived in rescue at the end of June this year. The adult children were unable to care for her after their parents passed. Jabby suffered from a Neospora infection passed at birth and paralyzed, unable to use her deformed back legs her entire life. Puppy vaccinations by the backyard breeder would have prevented this condition. RCBR saw her deteriorate during her five months in foster care. Jabby had a chronic bladder infection that could not be resolved among other ailments. The decision was made to set Jabby free of her pain and allow her to join her family over the Bridge.

Jackson
I was extremely blessed when Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue approved me to be Jackson’s Mom! Jackson was an amazing all-in-one lil man. There wasn’t anything not to love about him. We miss him so much and all of the love, comfort and silliness he showed us. Always happy to see us and was all about what we needed. Unfortunately, the awful disease DM got the best of him, but we have so many wonderful memories in the short 2 yrs that we had with Jackson. There wasn’t one day except for the last that he didn’t give 100%... ~ Nancy

Jana
Jana crossed 11/30/2022 It was a sad day in November when I had to let my best friend go. My first dog of my very own. She came into the house as just another foster my mom brought in. She knew that I needed her before I knew it. It was at a time in my life when I was just starting my recovery from a life of addiction. She became my best friend and my sober companion, who had no judgment, just total unconditional love. In the two short years she was with me, we had many adventures, including several camping trips along with countless miles walking the disc golf courses. She was the best-worst dog ever as my mom would say. She was so well-behaved and also terrible at the same time. I think it is the kind of thing only a Boxer can do. Such a lovely dork. She had the best vertical I have ever seen. She would jump what seemed like five feet straight up from a stand when it was time to go out. She was always waiting at the door, overjoyed when I came home from work. Then in only a few short days her body just gave up. She looked at me and said she needed to go but she would be waiting for me at the Bridge. My very own Janna Banana Nanner Beans. I will miss you forever and then even more. Thank you my Father of Heaven for sending her to me at exactly the right time. I am sorry for avoiding this for so long. Thank you for being patient and continuing to ask my mother about it. And thank you RCBR for allowing her into my house. She was a miracle and a blessing to me and my family. Alan

Jax
Jax was truly a very good boy. Found as a stray in Texas before coming to MN to join my family as my first foster-dog. Jax came in with a large mast cell tumor with an unknown growth history. He also had issues with standing for long periods due to old, untreated ACL injuries, though he was very happy to take short walks and stroll the backyard. Despite his medical issues, he was the kindest, best-behaved dog I could imagine. He was completely housetrained, walked nicely on a leash, waited for an invitation to attempt getting on any furniture, and would only bark - just once -when he wanted to be let back in from outside! I fell hard and fast for him and felt so very lucky to have five months of his loving companionship to share a great friendship & many local adventures. When it appeared his tumor was going to cut his days shorter than hoped, it was my honor to help RCBR in fulfilling a bucket list for him. He was a star as a Salvation Army bell-ringer, a book-reader for a classroom full of grade-schoolers, an honorary fire station dog, had a photo with Santa & a unicorn, a ride in a Mustang convertible & his own beer label as special guest at a Wisconsin brewery. He was such a trooper - really never showing significant discomfort or pain until the night before Christmas Eve. That whole night was uncomfortable for him as his cancer let us know he was ready for his journey to the Bridge. Mr. Jax, my handsome Jaxie-boy with huge, loving eyes and a classic, happy wiggle-butt, you are forever loved!

Jaxon
Jaxon crossed the bridge 7/1/2022 Jaxon was a sweet, loving, distinguished gentleman. He loved to snuggle and be close to his person. He was a watchful pup, learning to trust that humans were safe. He loved car rides, cuddling on the couch, and running back inside when it was cold out (he came to RCBR in the cold of winter from the southern United States). He was also a caring foster brother. When Lucy (RCBR Boxer) joined the household, he let her have the best snuggle spots and loved to share his days with her. He was a calm and loving pup who is greatly missed.
