"My time with Lucy was way too short. She really wanted nothing to do with us the first couple of weeks. We gave her the time and space she needed and let her come to us on her own terms. Once she trusted us, Lucy just wanted to be held and loved. My very last night with Lucy, I played relaxing dog music as she lay on my chest. I think she knew the end was near. Run free baby girl until we meet again. You will always have a special place in my heart." 
Luna lived a life of making babies. She was not anyone’s pet and did not even get to live inside a house. But once RCBR stepped in, all of that changed. We were privileged to have Luna live her last days inside a warm home, on a comfy bed, surrounded by nothing but love from all humans and animals. Rest easy, sweet sweet Luna.
